A Year of Learning

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is only 12 days away! That means finishing up last minute shopping, wrapping gifts, and many days of celebrating! Our team got together recently to celebrate the holidays and the (almost) end of an incredible 2018 wedding season. It was so nice to see everyone and catch up!

While enjoying our dinner, Elaine asked the question “In regards to photography, what was/were some of the biggest things you’ve learned this year?” We all had so much to share with each other!!! For some of us, we got technical and talked about camera settings and editing tricks (I’ll save that for another fun post later). But one answer that stood out was from Cara. She shared that one of the biggest things that she learned was how to go with the flow and take things as they come. She shared that there are some things that you cannot control in life and on your wedding day and it’s better not to let yourself get overworked or stressed. Essentially, don’t sweat the small stuff!

We always encourage our clients to remember that their wedding day is about them and celebrating their love for one another. When things go wrong in life, or on your wedding day, you will always have each other.

Check out Kelsey and Dylan’s wedding photographed by yours truly at Wedgewood Sierra La Verne. This laid back couple let their love take the front seat as they relaxed and enjoyed their wedding day together.
